A
refuge situated in a sunny position on the lower slopes of Monte Prada near San
Lorenzo in Banale in the Giudicarie Valley. A tortuous and steep asphalt road
takes you to within 5 minutes of the refuge. This is the starting point for a
number of enjoyable excursions across the grassy expanse of Prada or for more
demanding excursions to the Ambiez Valley across the Forcella Bregain Col or
along the Ceda Valley or to the Pedrotti Refuge along the Doré Valley and the
Mezzadora Valley.
