This
is an alternative way to reach the Dodici Apostoli Refuge. It runs from west to
east and is a lateral valley of the Algone Valley. In the north it is bounded by
the Palon dei Mughi, Cima Colm Alta and Dodici Apostoli peaks and in the east by
the Dodici Apostoli Pass, beyond which lie the hanging glaciers of Prato Fiorito
overlooked by the Cima di Val d’Agola peak. To the south stand out the rock
spurs of the Cima delle Ortighe, Cima della Finestra, Cima Andron, Vallon, Cima
Padaiola Bassa and Cima Camerotti peaks.
