From
Carciato, an outlying district of Dimaro (Sole Valley. 772 m.), take path 335
towards “La Gnoca” and go into the Cavai Valley as far as the former
Malga Cavalli (2,061 m.). Here you take path 308 and turn northwards as far as
the Fontane Fredde spring and then eastwards keeping close to the Palon peak as
far as Lake Salare (2,012 m.). Carry on northwards towards the Malga Clesera
where you take path 313 which goes around Monte Peller from the north. After
about 45 minutes you come to path 374 which comes up from the Mezol Valley and
in a short time you arrive at the refuge.
