In Malè you cross the River Noce to come to the small village of Regazzini and take path 374. Go past the rock-climbing practice wall, the forestry road from Plaz and the great fir wood until you come to the right bank of the Mezol Valley. When you get to the Refuge, follow a stretch of the road open to traffic as far as the meadows around the Malga Roi and then carry on as far as the Peller Refuge. Also from Malè the Peller Refuge is accessible by following path 308 which passes the Prà della Selva meadow, the Malga Croviana and the Malga di Cles (about 3½ hours).

From Carciato, an outlying district of Dimaro (Sole Valley, 772 m.), take path 335 towards “La Gnoca” and go into the Cavai Valley as far as the former Malga Cavalli (2,061 m.). Here you take path 308 and turn northwards as far as Fontane Fredde spring and then eastwards, keeping close to the Palon peak, as far as Lake Salare (2,012 m.). Carry on northwards towards the Malga Clesera where you take path 313 which goes around Monte Peller from the north. After about 45 minutes you come to path 374 which comes up from the Mezol Valley and in a short time you arrive at the refuge.

The departure point is not far from the car park nearest to the Peller Refuge near the fork for the Malga Tassulla. From the car park (Lake Durigal) to the Malga Tassullo (2,090 m.), Forcola Pass (2,104 m.), Nana Pass (2,195), former Malga Cavalli, Malga Clesera (1,889 m.), Peller Refuge and Lake Durigal. This is a route than meanders through the area set aside for the protection of the Alpine brown bear and crosses the magnificent Nana plain which is of considerable botanical and geological interest. First follow path 336 as far as the Nana Pass and then take path 335 to the former Malga Cavalli where you take path 308.
