Brenta Dolomites Trentino Italy

For most people the name “Paganella” is associated with an imposing system of ski-lifts and downhill ski runs which over the last few years have reached a high level of excellence in terms of manmade snow and piste preparation. In addition, the Paganella-Gazza massif offers visitors not just the chance to ski but also to go on high altitude excursions |

MAGNIFICENT
VIEWS The
all-pervading feature of these itineraries is the vast, surprising and
wonderful 360 degree panorama: from the Brenta
Group to the Maddalene, the distant peaks on the border, the eastern
Dolomites and the Lagorai, the Adige Valley, the Tre Cime del Bondone
peaks, the Laghi Valley, the Giudicarie plain, Monte Baldo and Lake Garda. |

AMID
FIRS AND MOUNTAIN PINES IN THE QUIET OF HIGH ALTITUDE MEADOWS Numerous
itineraries along marked paths enable hikers to walk for miles over the
vast mountain ridges. From east to south-west, without any great changes
in height, you can go deep into the vast fir and mountain pine woods on
Doss Negro, and Cima Canfedin. Naturally you are advised to set out fully
equipped for the snow conditions: the Alpine Guides office not only offers
a range of excursions with a guide but also offers useful information
about safety precautions. |

JUST
A FEW METRES AND YOU ARE IN A DIFFERENT WORLD. Just
wander one hundred metres from the ski-lifts and you find yourself in
another world: the silence is absolute and in the snow you can see the
tracks of deer, hares, foxes and the many birds that live here. Near the
fir trees, facing south you will often find a grassy clearing where you
can take a break to have a snack or lie in the sun. |
